A COMPREHENSIVE DIRECTORY

The Sacred Earth Network proudly announces the 3rd edition of its Directory, a comprehensive resource designed to help organizations and individuals communicate with Eurasians who are working to protect and heal their beautiful land. The Directory is divided into two parts: a detailed list of 377 active electronic mail users and in-depth profiles of 112 groups. The paper used is tree-free, made entirely from the kenaf plant.

Non-governmental environmental organizations (NGOs) in the former Soviet Union play an important role at home and abroad. Their dedicated professional and volunteer members strive to provide reliable information about current conditions and the effectiveness of remedial or conservation techniques. As international collaboration grows, e-mail has become vital to the efficient development and implementation of environmental programs.

The Sacred Earth Network (SEN) is recognized as a key networking service among the western and Eurasian environmental activist communities. SEN has provided equipment and training that has directly enabled more than 150 Eurasian environmental groups to communicate via electronic mail.

The Directory may be purchased for $20. To order, send check or money order to: The Sacred Earth Network, 267 East Street, Petersham, MA 01366 USA (Address envelopes, Attn: Dave Camoirano.) Please add $5 for international shipping. For more information, write to the above address or send e-mail to sacredearth@igc.apc.org
