TRAINING AVAILABLE TO RUSSIAN REPORTERS FROM BRITISH BROADCASTING CORPORATION MAY 12, 1995

BBC WORLD SERVICE CONTINUES TRAINING FOR RUSSIAN JOURNALISTS BBC is offering another 48 places for Russian journalists in its "Media in the UK" program. The six week courses, which are held in London, are open to TV, radio and newspaper journalists. The first course for six journalists will be held in September 1995. The program requires very good spoken English. Deadline for applications is June 9, and BBC officials will visit Russia in early July to interview applicants. To apply, send a resume or outline of qualification and career to date, current position and responsibilities, and a letter stating how applicant would use the knowledge gained during the training program. The application should be in English.
