Quality control is at the forefront in each phase of the Washington
Beef production cycle. Our commitment to Total Quality Management is essential
to our success. Each employee understands there will be no compromise of
quality standards.
The quality control system begins when the cattle are delivered to feedlots
for finish feeding. The live cattle are monitored until ready for delivery
to the slaughter/ fabrication facility. This ensures satisfactory weight
gain, animal health, feedlot sanitation and optimal timing for processing.
Our corporate Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) program ensures
that Food Safety is always a primary concern to the company. Our plants
are Federally Inspected by the United States Department of Agriculture
(USDA). Our corporate quality control standards exceed those set by the
USDA.
In our production facilities, all critical control points are closely
monitored to ensure wholesome products have been processed, trimmed and
packaged to our customer's exacting specifications. In addition, daily
laboratory bacteriological testing for sanitation of our facilities and
hygiene of our employees, maximizes food safety throughout the organization.
